I really love the notebooks that artists use - I recently bought Danny Gregory's book about sketchbooks
and I am a huge fan of the collage style used by Peter Beard and Dan Eldon and Candy Jernigan.
For myself I have been using 6x8" Clairefontaine notebooks. Mostly the graph style, but now I am about to finish
one and start another and it has blank pages instead of graph paper. I have always been a fan of journal
keeping. Mine started as mostly writing and now are a mix of collage and drawing/painting and writing.
It is hard to stop one and start another, in part because there is so much information - phone numbers, address, recipes,
bus info, little hand drawn maps. At first I do not like the new one and then in time I grow to like it.
I like the Rhodia notebooks too. I make my calendar on the large size rhodia pages. might use a small one for
keeping track of $$ spent.Between the paper journal, this online journal and the well, that is a lot of note taking
introspection.
