Half of a Yellow Sun - this was good - I now know a lot more about Biafra and the Biafra-Nigeria war and more about Nigeria - lots of history packed into a well written, easy to read story w interesting characters. I read a lot of this on the airplane and in the airport.

Deon Meyer - read another one of his police procedurals, takes place in Cape Town. I'll probably read everything he writes.

Mercy - the one book I got to take out of the library here in Perth. Takes place in Denmark. If you like Jo Nesbo, you will like this book. another police procedural.
